RFD responded to assist Liberty Fire Company of Spring City on a home fire in the 200 block of Broad St just before 11 AM on Thursday February 9th. Eight personnel responded on two pieces of apparatus. Quick work was made by the combined personnel from Spring City, Royersford, Ridge Fire Company, Phoenixville Fire Department and UPT Fire & Emergency Services. There were no injuries.

RFD crews cleared shortly before 12:30 PM. The Chester County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause.
