Shortly after 11pm on Thursday evening, the Royersford Fire Department was dispatched to assist at the scene of a house fire on Jug Hollow Rd in Schuylkill Township, Chester County.

The Rescue responded with a crew of five. Members filled air cylinders and assisted with clean up at the fire scene.

Yesterday Senator Katie Muth visited RFD to present Royersford's Fire, EMS, & Police personnel with new life saving equipment. Over the last handful of weeks our EMS Division providers worked together to put into service a new 2024 E350 Ambulance to serve the Spring-Ford Community. RFD members took the ladder truck to Phoenixville to attend the annual Dogwood Festival Parade which coincides with the Phoenixville Fire Department's 150th Anniversary celebration.
