Ladder 98 Covers West Chester Saturday Night

Saturday evening Ladder 98 joined East Brandywine Fire Company 's Rescue 49 in West Chester while their members enjoyed their annual banquet. Members from RFD and East Brandywine were housed in WCFD's Good Will Fire Company covering West Chester and the surrounding area until approximately 10:30pm. Senator Katie Muth swung by our EMS Division meeting with leadership and the on duty staff and get a tour of the recently purchased Chevrolet Tahoe outfitted for Mental Health transports. Fire Prevention Week Continues - Preventing Scalding Injuries

A scald injury can happen at any age. Children, older adults and people with disabilities are especially at risk. Hot liquids from bath water, hot coffee and even microwaved soup can cause devastating injuries. Scald burns are the second leading cause of all burn injuries.
