The trend of overnight fire calls continues as RFD units were alerted to a possible building fire in the Providence Town Center in Upper Providence Township. Engine 98 arrived first to find a dumpster fire sending bellowing smoke into the air with the RFD duty crew utilizing the bumper line making quick work of the flames. One Vehicle Flips Overnight on Main Street

As precipitation began to fall overnight RFD was alerted to an auto accident on Main Street between 5th and 6th Avenues. Fire & EMS units arrived finding one vehicle overturned coming to rest in the roadway after striking several parked vehicles along Main Street. The weekend lunch crowd was forced to make a quick exit at the Margaritas Mexican Restaurant when a mulch fire outside of the building worked its way into the exterior wall. Driver Trapped After Single Vehicle Collision

Nightshift crews kicked off the shift being dispatched to an auto accident with entrapment in Upper Providence Township. Just after 12:30pm multiple agencies were dispatched to Upper Providence Township for a reported stove fire which was not contained. First arriving units were met with light smoke condition inside making quick work of the hazard and ventilating the house of smoke. Rescue 98 Heads to Perkiomen Township for Low Angle Rescue

Shortly after the 12 o'clock hour Rescue 98 was dispatched assisting Perkiomen Fire Company with a low angle rescue. Car Fire Brings Response to 422, Causes Secondary Accident

As Easter Sunday drew to a close Royersford Fire Department and Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company were alerted to a vehicle fire on westbound Route 422. Chief 98 arrived to find a vehicle on the shoulder with an active fire in the engine compartment directing crews from Royersford & Black Rock to setup blocking a single lane of the highway while the fire was extinguished.
