Fire and EMS Assist on Spring City Auto Accident

As the Friday evening rush was in full swing MICU 83-4 & Rescue 98 were dispatched assisting the Liberty Fire Company for an auto accident at S. Wall Street & Pikeland Avenue in Spring City Borough. Department Responds to Fire Outside Residence

At 8:44pm the Department was alerted to a trash fire in the Providence Forge development in Upper Providence Township. Initial reports indicated there was a small fire outside but near a residence. First arriving units found the fire to be underneath a carport and against an exterior wall to the structure. Rescue 98 Makes Daytime Response to Working Fire in Upper Providence

RFD Watchdesk, August 29

Just before 11am Rescue 98 was alerted to assist units in Upper Providence Township on a working dwelling fire on Green Tree Road. Rescue 98 made the response with 6 personnel onboard and arrived onscene to assist with searching the dwelling as well as overhaul after the initial fire had been extinguished.

Throwback Thursday Looking at Ladder 98

With Engine 98 on the cusp of being delivered, we wanted to take a look back at the construction of Ladder 98.

Our 2016 Pierce PUC Heavy Duty Ladder boosts a 105' aerial ladder with a 1500 gallon per minute pump.
