Last evening Rescue 98 was alerted and responded to Pottstown after the devastating explosion on Hale Street. Initially placed in a standby role for additional emergencies in the Pottstown area, Rescue 98 with a crew of five was reassigned to join personnel at the site providing relief for those who had been onscene since the onset of the incident. Additonal RFD personnel stood by on station for emergencies in Royersford if needed. Our thoughts are with the families of those affected by this incident and the Pottstown community.
