Over the last handful of days, RFD has made the trek into Chester County assisting Liberty Fire Company on multiple auto accidents all in East Vincent Township. The first incident on Thursday February 25th brought MICU 83 & Rescue 98 to 724 in the area of Stony Run Road for an accident with entrapment. West End EMS assisted due to multiple critical patients with one being flown from the scene via JeffStat Aeromedical.

The next pairing of accidents on Friday morning again brought RFD and Liberty together with two incidents again in East Vincent Township. The first incident caused by refreezing of water on Schuylkill Road resulted in a vehicle spinning out striking an embankment. The second, also with ice playing a factor, resulted in a vehicle overturning coming to rest on its side. Both incidents produced minor injuries and were cleared quickly by crews.

The final auto accident occurred Tuesday March 2nd on Kolb Road just off Route 724. Crews arrived to find multiple vehicle involved with minor injuries.
