Yesterday MICU 83-4 in Spring City received word a resident was in need of assistance with his motorized wheelchair. EMT Eric Wachter and Paramedic Lieutenant Mike Lessar arrived to find Mr. Anthony Brown enjoying the evening weather, so much so his motorized wheelchair did not have enough power to transport him back to his home. EMS ensured Mr. Brown did not require any medical care and offered to use the ambulance as an electrical source charging Mr. Brown's wheelchair so he could make it home for the evening. You might remember Mr. Brown ran into a similar situation in January with our crews returning him home via our Paratransit Unit.
