RFD members were busy Saturday night into Sunday morning with responses to Limerick and Trappe's section of Upper Providence Township.

Shortly after 8pm on Saturday night Ladder 98 responded to assist with a fire at the Bengal Paper Company. The fire was under control within an hour. There was one firefighter injured after a fall.

Then RFD was on the road again after 2am for an assist in Upper Providence Township.

Mutual aid is vitally important to the fire service as volunteer numbers continue to dwindle.
