As we collectively close the book on 2020 and begin the trek into the new year, Royersford Fire Department is proud to announce the Fire & EMS Leadership for 2021.
Fire Chief - Gary Wezel Deputy Fire Chief - Dave Panetta Assistant Fire Chief - Chas Chell Battalion Chief - Elliot Guffey Director of EMS/Chief of EMS Operations - George Gilliano Deputy Chief of EMS Operations - Bree Godin Assistant Chief of EMS Operations/Public Information Officer - Lenny Brown EMS Captain - Matt Lex
Fire Chief Gary Wezel is no stranger to the Department being the first Fire Chief of RFD after the merger of Humane & Friendship Fire Companies in 2011. We thank outgoing Fire Chief Jared Weeks for his guidance and leadership during what can only be described as unprecedented during his tenure.
Fire Chief Wezel offers this insight into the new year, "2020 has been a tough year for everyone, in 2021 RFD still asks that you remain vigilant to safeguarding yourself and your family against COVID-19. Don't forget that a small act of kindness can mean the world to someone. Wishing everyone a Blessed and Safe New Year. "
