Welcome to the official website of the Royersford Fire Department!

The Royersford Fire Department is comprised of multiple divisions serving the Spring-Ford community. The department is comprised of a Fire Division, EMS Division (Friendship Ambulance), and Social Club. The department operates out of two stations in Royersford as well operating in Spring City, Chester County as a part of a cooperative with the Liberty Steam Fire Company.

The fire division (Station 98) is housed at 299 Walnut Street in Royersford Borough adjacent to Borough Hall & the Royersford Police Department. The station sits across the street from the Humane Fire Company building which housed all the fire apparatus after the merger of Humane and Friendship Fire Companies to form the Royersford Fire Department. The new station was officially dedicated on September 16th, 2017.

The EMS division of the department continues to use the Friendship namesake from the original station prior to the merger of the two fire companies. Friendship Ambulance operates out of two locations providing service to Montgomery & Chester Counties. The Montgomery County units (Medic 325) are stationed at 269 Green Street in Royersford Borough while the unit in Chester County (MICU 83) is stationed at the Liberty Steam Fire Company on Main Street in Spring City. Additionally operating out of the Montgomery County station is a "non-emergent" service which provides transportation from local extended care facilities to various appointments for patients who require an ambulance to be safely transported.

The social club division of the department is a private "members only" club which also operates out of the Green Street location. The social club organizes several leagues throughout the year including bowling and dart leagues. Additionally is a large banquet facility at the Green Street location which caters to private parties such as weddings, fundraisers, and other large gatherings.
