During the weeks surrounding Veterans Day the Hookies Bar & Grille sold American Flags to raise money for local disabled veterans. The flags pictured were purchased by social club members who had their names placed on the flag signifying their donation to the fundraiser. In cooperation with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Center in East Vincent Township the department inquired what items would be most beneficial for the veterans to help brighten their Christmas holiday. We were provided with a list of items and department members hit the stores to find the items our veterans could really use this holiday season. We are happy to report the items were delivered to the Veterans Center Monday evening by Fire Marshal Craig Keffer.
We are proud to serve the Southeastern Pennsylvania Veterans Center as their primary 911 ambulance service with MICU 83 as well as provide opportunities to give back to those men and women who made commitments and sacrifices to serve our country.
