Have you taken part in one of our annual chicken barbecue events and loved the corn in the dinner package? Ever driven passed the fire or EMS division and noted the beautiful flowers planted around the stations? All of this is possible due to the support of one local family who has given generously to the Royersford Fire Department over the last decade. The Renninger Family and their farm on 2nd Avenue has supported the department by providing the outstanding, locally grown corn for the chicken barbecue as well as providing flowers to help beautify our stations at no cost to the department. Anytime we have approached them with requests to purchase items such as small pumpkins for kids to paint this Halloween they have donated them without hesitation.

Their continuing generosity has not gone unnoticed within the department and we wanted to find a way to say thank you and show our appreciation for all they have done for us over the years. Early last week members of the department traveled to the Renninger Family Farm in Upper Providence Township and presented the Renninger Family with a firefighting helmet with a customized front. As you can see from the pictures it was well received and we cannot say thank you enough for the continued support from this terrific family. The Renninger Family Farm will always have a special place inside the Royersford Fire Department for their generosity.
