For the third consecutive year the Royersford Fire Department is proud to join our friends from Plymouth Ambulance and responders from all over Montgomery County with the "Operation Christmas Kids Toy Run." This is the ninth year of the event which has grown larger each year encompassing more and more ambulances, firetrucks, and police vehicles. New, unwrapped toys are collected leading up to the event and on Saturday, December 15th responders all meet at the Plymouth Ambulance headquarters for photographs with Santa and to rally with the plan for the day. The long line of emergency vehicles make their way from Plymouth Meeting to Bryn Mawr Hospital and then St. Christopher's Hospital for Children making deliveries at each hospital.

What do we need from you, the Spring-Ford community? We need your help with collecting new, unwrapped toys to deliver to the pediatric units at Bryn Mawr Hospital & St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. There will be a collection area setup at the EMS Division on Green Street just outside of Friendship Hall. Additionally feel free to bring your toy donation to the Fire Division on Walnut Street on Monday evenings around 7pm during our weekly training session and see how you can get involved with the department! Saturday December 15th during the Breakfast with Santa we will load all the toys up in an ambulance, firetruck, and make the trek to these special kids and deliver some Christmas cheer.
