Just before 7:30pm this evening the fire division was alerted to assist the Royersford Police Department with a vehicle stuck on the railroad tracks in the area of the Pink Moose Cafe. The vehicle inadvertently traveled approximately 400 feet down the tracks before coming to a rest. Norfolk Southern was contacted to suspend all train traffic while responders removed the vehicle. Rescue 98 stood by in the parking lot of the Pink Moose due to the vehicle's gasoline tank being punctured while traveling down the railway and the vehicle was ultimately removed by Superior Towing.
