RFD Run Statistics for September

The RFD Fire Division responded to 24 emergency calls in the month of September bringing the Year-to-Date calls to 291. The Fire Division responded to 11 calls in the Borough, 11 calls in Upper Providence Township and 2 in Spring City. Total man-hours of 51 Hours, 38 Minutes and an In-Service Time of 8 Hours, 57 Minutes, 11 seconds. This brings the Total Man-hours for the year to 609 Hours & 56 Minutes with a Total Time In-Service for the year of 110 Hours & 58 Minutes.

The EMS Division responded to 286 calls for service. Of those 226 were dispatched 911 emergency and 60 were non-emergent transport from various facilities and hospitals in the area.

Highlights of the month included the department hosting the community at our station for Q.P.R. Gatekeeper training and attending Royersford Community Day. Also the EMS Division was recertified for three more years during their licensure inspection.
