Units from Royersford Fire Department and Black Rock Fire Department were dispatched to the report of an overturned vehicle which possibly was on fire on the eastbound side of US-422 approaching the Route 29 offramp at 8:00am. Upon arrival, Chief Wezel confirmed the driver of the vehicle had self extricated from the vehicle and there was no fire. EMS personnel from 325-3 determined there was no need for medical care as the driver was uninjured but shaken up.

The right lane of eastbound US-422 was closed for a short time while the scene was cleaned up. Upper Providence Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police also assisted at the scene.
