The Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, and our river experts have been monitoring the conditions of the river all week. While this rain is much needed, the conditions of the river have become unsafe to host the river float portion of our event. The river has become too deep, the current is too strong, and the waters are full of hazards like tree logs. The safety of our community is our top priority, and we cannot in good conscience put anyone in harm’s way.

The beer garden will still be taking place at the Royersford Fire Hall located at 269 Green Street tomorrow 8/10/24 from 2pm-8pm. Beer has been donated by Lost Planet Brewing and Park Towne Beverage, and food is being coordinated by Hip Foods Inc.

We thank our community members so much for donating to support this event and our volunteer fire department – without the support of our community, we could not do what we do. We look forward to seeing everyone at the beer garden tomorrow afternoon.
