Wednesday morning at 3:38am the RFD was alerted to assist Station 51 (Limerick) for a possible residential building fire on Fox Trail Road in Limerick Township. Engine 98 arrived with six personnel and performed primary search operations with Rescue 98 being added to the assignment as a part of the the working fire dispatch. Rescue 98 arrived to fill Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) air cylinders for personnel. The fire was contained to the basement area with all RFD units clearing at 5:05am. Thankfully there were no injuries and this fire is under investigation by the Limerick Township Fire Marshal's Office.
