Saturday morning Engine 98 crossed the Schuylkill River heading into Chester County assisting the Kimberton Fire Company on a barn fire. The structure located on Prizer Road in East Pikeland Township required companies from Kimberton, Phoenixville, Valley Forge, Ridge, Lionville, Glenmoore, Ludwig's Corner, Liberty Spring City, Royersford, and West End EMS to bring the flames under control. Engine 98's crew joined the manpower pool being assigned various tasks on the fireground before being released returning to Montgomery County.
