With the weekend on the horizon, Friday evening RFD personnel were alerted to assist UPT units with an appliance fire upgraded to bring a building fire response to . Initial reports indicated a dryer fire which still had active fire inside the unit. First arriving personnel discovered smoke visible from the roofline of the residence and requested an upgraded assignment bringing Rescue 98 for the cascade and 325-5 from the EMS Division to assist Trappe EMS providing onsite medical care.

352-5 was released after being onscene for approximately 30 minutes with Rescue 98 being released after providing manpower and filling air cylinders onscene.
