Monday Evening, as the rain was pouring down, the Royersford Fire Department and the Liberty Fire Company came together for joint training. Monday night's evolution focused on Vehicle Rescue Operations. Crews met at Station 98 and then were "dispatched" at times frames consistent with actual emergency responses. First arriving crews found a vehicle that had traveled off the roadway and came to rest against a structure. Crews found two occupants (rescue dummies) trapped inside with heavy roof intrusion into the occupancy area.

Crews were tasked with scene safety, vehicle stabilization, victim access, and victim removal. These types of evolutions give members a chance to practice their vehicle rescue and incident command training.

Members would like to thank Petaccio's Driving School for the donation of the vehicle used for the training.
