Labor Day afternoon plans were put on hold for the members of RFD being dispatched to relocate to Norco Fire Company in Chester County. Norco along with agencies from Chester, Montco, and Berks Counties are operating at a large haybale fire on Schuylkill Road in North Coventry Township. In addition to providing fire coverage for area the crew of Engine 98 is assisting with refilling the multitude of tankers shuttling water to the scene. At the end crews filled 76 tanker loads of water with a total gallonage of 250,000 gallons being filled and shuttled by the tankers. Great work by everyone involved.
