At 11:15am Upper Providence Township Department of Fire & Emergency Services along with Collegeville Fire Company were dispatched to Sierra Crest Drive for an electrical fire outside. Engine 34 arrived to find an electrical issue inside the home and requested an aerial brining Ladder 98 to the assignment. Crews found a short inside the meter which caused an electrical failure to the home with other residents reported also hearing a pop and and a burning odor inside their homes. Crews collectively checked the surroundings residences to ensure there was no issue awaiting PECO to arrive.

Later in the evening Ladder 98 was again dispatched heading this time to Limerick Township assisting Limerick Fire Department with a reported building fire on Enterprise Drive.
