Sunday evening brought Engine 98 to the intersection of Arch Street & 2nd Avenue to investigate an electrical fire outside. Personnel arrived to find an active issue with the electrical equipment at the top of a pole next to the PECO substation at the intersection. PECO was notified of the issue prompting a response from an emergency response team. The roadways around the scene remained open as RFD stood by to ensure the situation remained in hand.
