Overnight Spring City's Liberty Fire Company was dispatched to the Park Spring Apartments for an electrical fire inside and upon arriving crews investigating discovered an active fire behind the walls of the apartment. The assignment was upgraded to a building fire response bringing additional units from Royersford, Limerick, Ridge, Valley Forge, Kimberton and Phoenixville to assist. Ladder 98 was the first mutual aid unit to arrive onscene and assisted the crew already on location to mitigate the hazards and bring the fire under control. Units were released by command as the incident was scaled back.
