Duty crews from 325 were alerted this morning to assist Pottstown Fire Department with an underground transformer fire. The situation was an evolving event with smoke being reported in numerous buildings around the High & Hanover Streets intersection. Friendship providers assisted with evacuation of several buildings and also served as the primary transport unit for the fireground.
