Last evening both divisions of the department were in attendance for the annual National Night Out celebration. Both Fire and EMS divisions were represented with the vehicles on display for everyone to see the equipment and even climb inside a take a look around. Fire crews were on hand to answer questions about the fire division as well as hand out some Royersford Fire Department give-a-ways. EMS crews pulled double duty with two ambulances on site. The first ambulance was dedicated for tours and demonstrations with a second ambulance to be used in case of any emergencies. Additionally EMS Supervisor Lenny Brown was out and about on one of our EMS bicycles in the two block area. The EMS bicycles are great for events such as National Night Out ensuring medical professionals can quickly access a heavily populated area.

Thank you to everyone who came out and brave the weather before the storm rolled through! Fire Division crews stood by at the station while the storm passed in the event of any emergencies.
