Tuesday morning brought a plethora of regional agencies to Phoenixville Borough to battle a fire at the Prima Motel on West Bridge Street. Ladder 98 & Rescue 98 were requested to assist agencies from Chester, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties as flames broke through the roof sending smoke high into the air which could be seen for miles. While fire personnel gained the upper hand on the fire, EMS from MICU 83-4 & 325-3 rounded the scene ensuring any medical needs were immediately addressed. As the situation was brought under control units were released from the scene to provide EMS coverage to the area with 325-3 handling an unrelated medical emergency in Phoenixville Borough.
