This week's Monday evening training kept our crews in station brushing up on ropes and knots. While this may seem like a relatively simple training topic there are many different knots used in a variety of applications. Some knots are used to tie-down or secure an item while others are used to hoist and lift equipment. Using the right combination is essential to execute the task onscene quickly and safely.
