The Royersford Fire Department responded to a total of 373 calls for service in the month of July. This is the busiest month for the the Fire Division in 2018 and the third busiest month for EMS.

The Fire Division responded to 40 calls. Crews were in-service for 11 hours, 45 minutes, and 57 seconds for a Year-To-Date total of 97 hours and 57 minutes. Crews responded to one vehicle rescue, one vehicle accident with injuries, 3 carbon monoxide alarms, 4 medical assists, and 15 automatic fire alarms along with additional calls for assistance from the department. The EMS Division handled 333 calls for service with 238 emergency responses and 95 non-emergent transports.

Highlights for the month included the department handling multiple calls simultaneously including a gas leak in the borough, assisting Liberty Fire Company in Spring City on a vehicle fire, and EMS transports to St. Luke's Quakertown and Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for specialized services. Also the department took part in multiple Fourth of July events including the Country Ridge celebration and the EMS Bike Team assisting Limerick Township at the Walt'z Golf Farm Fireworks display.
