Members from Royersford Fire Department made the trek to Harrisburg on Wednesday to receive special recognition for the Department's efforts during the month of October shining a light on Breast Cancer Awareness. Meeting with Senator Katie Muth at the Pennsylvania State Capitol our team was treated to a tour of the building before receiving an official declaration reading:

Whereas, Senator Katie Muth takes great pride in recognizing those organizations that , through adherence to the highest standards of service, contribute in a meaningful way toward a better and more productive society; and

Whereas, October is breast cancer awareness month, and Royersford Fire Department's dedication to the wellbeing of our community and our neighbors shows true service; and

Whereas, Royersford Fire Department is celebrating the momentous occasion of raising over $5,000 for Helen's Angels to support breast cancer patients and their families; and

Whereas, this effort and sense of purpose brings together our community n these specifically challenging times, Royersford Fire Department demonstrates leadership and generosity and honors the community with their hard work; and

Now therefore, Senator Muth congratulates Royersford Fire Department upon this richly deserved recognition,
