Shortly after 7pm fire broke out at the Ashwood Apartments in North Coventry Township bringing a massive fire & EMS response. Initial reports indicated fire through the roof with several occupants trapped inside the building. Fire units began arriving with additional EMS units being requested bringing MICU 83-4 & MICU 325-1 to the scene. With the fire operations ongoing additional crews mobilized to our stations to staff additional units providing EMS and fire coverage for the region stripped of resources due to the fire.

In addition to our EMS units being onscene, RFD crews staffed two additional MICUs, 325-3 & 83-2, along with multiple fire personnel standing by in Station 98 for any fire needs in the region.

**This is still an active scene at the time of posting. More updates as applicable will be added.**
