This morning just after 9:30am Royersford Fire Department and Liberty Fire Company were dispatched to the 100 block of 2nd Avenue after a gas line was struck. Engine 98 along with units from Spring City responded closing the roadway standing by until PECO responded to secure the gas line. Units cleared after PECO arrived onscene and mitigated the situation.
