Shortly after 11:30am Friendship Ambulance was alerted to an auto accident in Limerick Township on Route 422 eastbound at the Royersford exit ramp. Also responding to assist was the Limerick Fire Company, Linfield Fire Company, Trappe Fire Company EMS, and the Pennsylvania State Police. Crews arrived to find one vehicle on its side coming to rest on the grass median between the exit ramp and the travel lanes of Route 422. The two occupants of the vehicle were uninjured but were confined inside the passenger compartment. Fire crews arrived and utilized tools to cut through the front windshield providing a means of egress and after the occupants exited the vehicle were evaluated by EMS onscene. The ramp from eastbound Route 422 to Township Line Road was closed for a period of time while the scene was cleared.
