Shortly after 11am Limerick Fire Department and Trappe Fire Company were dispatched to a reported fire at the Spring Valley YMCA in Limerick Township. Police arrived to find a light fixture on fire in the ceiling. Due to the size of the building and an extensive smoke condition inside Ladder 98 and Engine 66 were dispatched to assist. All units cleared the scene after remedying the situation in just over one hour. The fire is being investigated by Limerick Township Fire Marshal.
