Shortly after 1:00pm MICU 83-2 was returning from Phoenixville Hospital after back-to-back calls for service when Chester County 911 advised of a motor vehicle accident at Ridge Road (Route 23) and East Seven Stars Road in East Vincent Township. MICU 83-2 responded immediately and arrived onscene within five minutes of being alerted to find officers from East Vincent Township Police Department already onscene speaking with the occupants of the two vehicles involved in the collision. EMS quickly assessed all occupants to find only minor injuries and no one requiring transport to the hospital. Fire personnel from the Ridge Fire Company provided hazard control for fluids on the roadway as well as traffic control as the vehicles were blocking the westbound travel lane. All units returned available and the roadway was completely reopened within 30 minutes.
