Yesterday Department personnel made a special trip to honor a local business for always supporting our community responders. Rossi's Pizzeria on N. Lewis Road in the Park Towne Plaza has time and time again assisted Royersford Fire Department and Friendship Ambulance through their generosity when we are looking to feed a large group of people or just stopping in for a quick slice for lunch. The food is delicious and the staff are always welcoming and ensure our staff are able to get in and out quickly in case of a 9-1-1 call. Thursday afternoon President & EMS Chief George Gilliano, Fire Chief Jared Weeks, and Firefighter/Trustee Mike Poteete presented Rossi's staff with a RFD firefighter helmet with a customized front to display in their restaurant as a show of our thanks. On behalf of the entire Royersford Fire Department, we offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to the Rossi's Pizzeria family and look forward to continuing our great relationship for many, many years to come. |
