Sacred Heart Church hosted emergency service agencies from the Spring-Ford community for a Blue Mass Service on September 11th. First responders from Royersford Fire Department, Royersford Borough Police Department, and Limerick Township Police Department were joined by Royersford Borough Mayor Jenna Antoniewicz, State Representative Joe Ciresi, and Former State Representative Tom Quigley for this amazing service. The term "Blue Mass" is a Mass celebrated annually in the Catholic Church for those employed in the "public safety field" (i.e. police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, 911 operators and EMS personnel). The color blue relates to the blue-colored uniforms predominantly used by these services.

On behalf of all first responders we thank Father Gorka and the congression of Sacred Heart for this amazing event and their continued support of not only RFD but all emergency personnel in the Spring-Ford community.
