On Friday our EMS Division welcomed a very special guest. Pennsylvania State Representative Joe Ciresi stopped by our Green Street station to present our crews with a certificate of appreciation. The Representative was able to tour the station as well as see one of the new ambulances recently placed into service. Representative Ciresi adds "Our communities in the 146th District are lucky to have dedicated emergency personnel, including those at the Royersford Fire Department and Friendship Ambulance. It’s important to show our appreciation for their public service on a regular basis. I’m looking forward to Royersford’s Emergency Services Night on October 9th.”

We cannot thank Representative Ciresi and his office for the continued support of our local emergency services. His office has continued to be an ear when we have concerns and a supporter of the Royersford Fire Department by attending community events and passing along information regarding grant opportunities available to the Department. We look forward to continuing and strengthening our already great relationship as the Spring-Ford community grows.
