Thursday afternoon Rescue 98 was dispatched to assist the Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company & Upper Providence Township Department of Fire & Emergency Services on Route 422 Eastbound in Upper Providence Township. One occupant was trapped inside the vehicle and was quickly extricated by crews onscene. Four of the five fire agencies who serve Upper Providence Township were able to contribute to the positive outcome of this incident. Ongoing inter-department training and education continues to show its value when all these organizations are tapped to respond to an emergency.
