Royersford Fire Department and Friendship Ambulance were proud to take part in this year's National Night Out. National Night Out originally was designed as an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Each event has taken on its own shape and identity with Royersford's truly becoming a community driven event. This year's event featured Rescue 98 & Utility 98 on display as well one of our EMS Bikes patrolling the crowd. We were excited unveil our special surprise from our EMS Division who revealed two brand new ambulances which will replace the current 325-3 & 325-4 units, the oldest in the EMS fleet. These ambulances were delivered on Monday just in time to National Night Out!
We thank everyone from the community who came out to support this great event as the two block stretch between 3rd & 5th Avenues were packed. We were unbelievably excited to unveil these new ambulances to the community at this event and look forward to placing them in service in the very near future.
