Main Street Cafe: Not Just Great Food, But Also CPR & First Aid Trained

Tuesday afternoon after the grill was turned off, tables wiped down, and syrup containers refilled the staff from Main Street Cafe settled into the dining area for a CPR & First Aid class. The staff were engaged asking lots of great questions as they learned how to intervene in sudden cardiac arrest as well as many common medical and first aid scenarios.

We cannot thank the staff of Main Street Cafe enough for being the first restaurant in the borough to be formally trained as they feed and entertain such a wide demographic of residents and visitors to the area. We also tip our hat to Public Works Director & Fire Marshal Craig Keffer for facilitating this event and stopping by for some photos.

If you are interested in setting up a training session for your staff please contact EMS Supervisor/PIO Lenny Brown at LBROWN@RFD98.ORG.
