Recently the Royersford Fire Department was part of a search which occurred in and around the borough. Often a successful operation requires mutual aid from outside agencies where territorial lines and municipal boundaries fade away. Mayor Jenna Antoniewicz took time to recognize all the agencies involved in this search by presenting commendations during the Borough Council meeting on June 25th.
Mayor Antoniewicz commented, "The mutual aid and collaboration among our community's finest first responders is admirable and we should all take a lesson from how they work together seamlessly for a common good".
Commendations were presented to: Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, Township of Upper Providence Department of Fire & Emergency Services, Royersford Fire Department and EMS, Royersford Borough Police Department and the Royersford Borough Fire Marshal's Office. Also recognized for their contributions that day were Liberty Fire Co. of Spring City, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, & Upper Providence Township Police Department.
