EMS Division Onsite for 2019 Graduation Commencement

Last evening the EMS Division provided medical coverage at Coach McNelly Stadium for a different type of Friday Night Lights. The Spring-Ford Area School District Class of 2019 underwent their Commencement Ceremonies, officially making the senior class high school graduates. Family and friends packed the bleachers to share in this momentous occasion while EMS and police officials from the School District & surrounding municipalities worked hand in hand to ensure the safety of those in attendance.

Truly behind the scenes the Office of Emergency Management for Royersford Borough and Limerick Township used the graduation commencement to train and familiarize staff with a new program called WebEOC. Members of the OEM have been trained in the basics of the program through county sponsored training but this event provided an opportunity to use the system in a real-time scenario.
