Today department personnel spent the majority of the day out and about in the community. Rescue 98 took part in the Earth Day Clean Up at Victory Park helping to clean some of the dirt and debris left from the winter months. Firefighters Dave Hummel, Ben Leister, & Les Seiders all braved the brisk wind to help spruce of Victory Park.

Later in the afternoon our EMS crews on duty joined Mayor Jenna Antoniewicz for a few treats at the grand ice cream re-opening of the Pink Moose Ice Cream Cafe and Catering. Everyone had an opportunity to sample same old and new favorites including Richman's Ice Cream, Philadelphia Water Ice, milkshakes, and sundaes to name a few. A huge thank you as always to Mayor Jenna for supporting not only Royersford Fire Department and our members but small business and the entire Royersford community.
