Overnight and early morning rains made the local roadways slick contributing to a single vehicle accident along Route 422 Eastbound. Units were dispatched to Milemarker 181.5 in Upper Providence Township for the report of a vehicle off the roadway. Rescue, Command, & Utility 98 all made the response from the fire division with 325-1 handling the EMS assignment. Also dispatched was Engine 93 from Upper Providence Township Department of Fire & Emergency Services, as well as Squad 99 and Fire Police from Black Rock Volunteer Fire Company. Pennsylvania State Police made the response for the single vehicle accident. One occupant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
