Last evening for the department's weekly training our partners from Liberty Fire Company in Spring City and Limerick Fire Department joined us at the Walnut Street station to train on various equipment, techniques, and topics. Crews reviewed forcible entry techniques as well as standpipe operations and high rise pack deployment.

We thank both organizations for making the trek to Royersford and allowing all our crews to train together. These two outstanding mutual aid partners commonly respond to assist RFD and vice versa for incidents. By training together and understanding how each apparatus and equipment is setup and can be deployed allows for increased versatility onscene during emergency situations.
