Last evening the Royersford Fire Department took a moment to honor Gary Wezel for his years of service to the community. Serving as Fire Chief in Royersford for 25 years, taking on multiple roles in the command structure he has been integral part of the department for over two decades. Taking active roles in committees for new apparatus, expanding training, Standard Operating Guidelines (S.O.G.) Development, as well as serving as a member of the original committee tasked with consolidation of the Humane and Friendship fire Departments are just a few of the ways Gary has helped shape RFD into department it is today.

The Department presented Gary with a service plaque and gift for all he has done and continues to do for the department and the communities we serve.
